Would you like to learn more about our D9 syrups and why they are some of the most popular products in our store? Let’s take a look at some of the frequently asked questions (FAQs) we receive.

What is D9 syrup?

Eagle Moon’s hemp delta-9 syrup is an excellent addition to edibles of all kinds. When used in a small quantity, the syrup adds a great taste and pleasant buzz. When used in greater quantities, the syrup evokes the euphoria of the more commonly used resin or gummies.

D9 syrup is intended primarily to enhance beverages and is designed with this purpose in mind. Our goal is to offer an alternative to alcohol, but of course, the syrup can be used however you’d like. Our syrup is made from delta-9 THC, which is found in hemp as well as in marijuana and causes the psychoactive effects for which cannabis is beloved. It combines the power medical-grade edibles offer with the convenience of creating your own beverage masterpiece without any time spent cooking or baking.

What are the active ingredients in D9 syrup?

From our berry delta 9 syrup to cheesecake bursting with the flavor of authentic berries, our syrup is made using the highest quality delta 9 THC distillate that is 100% hemp-derived.

What are the inactive ingredients in our D9 syrup?

Our D9 syrup also contains the following ingredients, none of which impact its potency: water, sugar, lecithin, citric acid, natural flavors, and color. It is corn syrup and fructose-free, prioritizing authentic flavors over artificial ingredients.

How does our D9 syrup work?

While the onset times can vary, many users report effectivity as soon as 20 minutes after use. Some people report that it takes about an hour and a half to fully kick in. Our body is a complex system and it can be difficult to determine exactly when you will begin feeling the effects. It is equally difficult to say exactly which effects and benefits D9 syrup will give you. Since it has the same interactions with your system as more traditional THC and cannabinoids, however, it offers many of the same effects.

If you are a person without much experience with using cannabis products or hemp products, start small. You can always consume a larger dose as you become more familiar with the syrup. The syrup works quicker than gummies, but at around the same speed as a tincture or oil. Additionally, your level of activity, fitness, diet, and hydration influence its efficacy of absorption.

How should D9 syrup be taken?

You should take our D9 syrup immediately after eating or, at the very least, with food. Note that our products contain 16 servings – it is an extremely potent and concentrated liquid. Take it in a safe area or, preferably, at home. It is particularly well-suited to be taken at the end of the day when you are winding down – just add a serving to your drink and chill out. Once again, take it slow if you are new to delta-9 THC. You can enjoy the syrup directly from the bottle, but our customers typically mix it with their favorite drink. Some people even report topping waffles and pancakes with it!

Practice safety and consume responsibly, but don’t forget to get creative and have fun!

How long does hemp-derived D9 syrup stay in your system?

For a ballpark estimate, assume that our D9 syrup will remain in your system for at least as long as marijuana and cannabis do. The exact number of days varies from person to person, but you can expect the syrup to be in your system for 21 to 60 days.

What is the recommended dosage of D9 syrup?

The best dose of D9 syrup depends on the person in question. We recommend that our clients begin with one-half of a tablespoon. Note that the THC content in this syrup is highly concentrated, and it is derived from delta 9, not delta 8 or another gentle strain. Start small and work your way up if necessary, and this applies to other THC syrups, too.

Wait at least 1.5 hours before you take more, and do not take more than you need to feel the desired effects.

How long does D9 syrup last?

The effects of our delta 9 syrup vary from person to person as well as how much you take. Standard doses last anywhere from four and eight hours, while higher doses last between 12 and 24 hours. Note that this information is not absolute. You might experience effects for shorter or longer durations.

Can I pass a drug test if I use hemp-derived D9 syrup?

As with THC gummies or sativa or indica strains, D9 syrup can fail a drug test. It is our advice that you wait to use D9 syrup until after drug tests if you know they are upcoming. Keep this warning in mind and note that even the smallest of doses can result in a failed drug screening.

What Does the FDA Say About D9 syrup?

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not evaluated these products or statements nor has it approved their use. Your legal ability to consume D9 syrup depends on your state’s law regarding THC and similar drugs. Delta-9 THC syrup is not designed to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, or cure of any symptoms or diseases, and the FDA has not released information regarding any potential complications.

The information in this article is not medical advice, nor is it a substitute for medical treatments or medications. Do your own research and speak with your physician before taking D9 syrup if you have any concerns.

Common Questions

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a cannabinoid but lacks the property of altering the user’s mind. CBD in recent years has been reported to reduce the effects of anxiety and depression, help to reduce inflammation, promote a healthy sleep schedule and even to reduce the chances of someone with epilepsy from having a seizure. When shopping around for CBD products, any legitimate companies that stand behind their products will have lab reports for the consumer to read. Lab reports are also known as certificates of analysis or COA and contain a whole host of useful information about the content of the finished product. These COAs can be notoriously hard to read with tons of confusing terms and numbers. Do not worry! We are here to teach you how to read these important documents so you can be sure of what you are putting into your body. Read more about how to read a COA here!
CBD flower is the buds produced from hemp. Hemp is the cousin of marijuana and both come from the cannabis sativa plant. Whereas marijuana is high in THC, the cannabinoid that causes the feeling of being “high,” hemp is very low in THC (less than 0.3%) and very high in CBD. Many years ago hemp was very different from marijuana but with modern growing practices and a market shifting more towards CBD, growers have applied their knowledge to growing better tasting and better looking CBD flower. It has begun to rival the more traditional market with more strains available with a multitude of companies that sell it nationwide and is set to become even larger in the next few years. CBD has anecdotally been described as helping many conditions in humans, ranging from anxiety to depression all the way to cancer and other life-treating ailments. The same is thought for our loving friends known as man’s best friend. CBD will not get your dog “high” as it is produced from hemp that is low in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC.) You can think of hemp as the one that makes rope and not marijuana which is strong in THC and used recreationally. Hemp with its high CBD content has been shown to potentially be medicinal without the mind-altering effects. Learn more about how CBD can help your furry friend here!
