Description

What is HHC distillate?

Hexahydracannabinol, also known as HHC, is a phytocannabinoid extract from the hemp plant. More specifically, CBD isolate, which is made from hemp flowers, is distilled to create HHC distillate. This process is conducted in a lab setting by chemists committed to the production of quality cannabis and CBD products. Even more specifically, HHC is a hydrogenated version of another cannabis product, delta-9 THC. HHC has an advantage over delta-9 because it is more stable from a molecular standpoint. This makes it less prone to degradation and easier to keep fresh. Despite this difference, users will find that HHC affects them similarly to other psychoactive phytocannabinoids such as THC-O acetate, delta-8 THC, delta-9 THC, and others.

HHC is safe, but it is important to understand what it isn’t. It is not a medical treatment approved by the FDA for use with health issues like high blood pressure, disease, or heart issues. There is currently a lack of research into the medical uses of HHC distillate, in fact, so it is not officially recommended for any specific medical condition. With that said, HHC distillate is known to help provide relief for minor issues like nausea in some people.

Be wary of broad statements labeling HHC as a “miracle drug”. It is an excellent distillate with fans all around the world, but it should not be confused with medical treatment.

With all of the above in mind, what is HHC distillate and what use might it have in your life? We’ve put together a quick guide to the distillate for our customers so that you understand its benefits and uses as well as the kind of experience you can expect.

Effects of HHC

If you have used CBD extracts and products in the past, be they edibles, oil, vapes, gels, or something else entirely, you are probably familiar with some of their more common side effects. Note that because HHC is a pure distillate from THC, the effects you experience here will likely be more pronounced than gentler CBD products.

Euphoria and pain relief, for example, are both common benefits in both delta-8 and delta-9 products. Because HHC is very similar to THC, it offers many of the same effects. This includes pain relief and euphoria as mentioned above, as well as reduced anxiety, increased relaxation, and triggering a sedative state. Another common effect is psychoactivity and dry mouth, especially when using a vape. A calmed heart rate and improved mood are reported at times, too.

Remember that these are not medically evaluated claims. If you have questions about how HHC might affect you, your physician is the best resource you have. Your doctor will be a better judge of that than our team.

Note that we caution against driving or operating any kind of machine while under the influence of HHC. Depending on the content of HHC in your system, you might have slightly impaired reactions.

Does HHC Show Up On A Drug Test?

HHC is not THC, which is commonly detected in drug tests. However, it is an isomer of it, and consumption of HHC, be it via gummies, vapes, or even via food with the drug as one of its ingredients, could lead to a positive drug test.

Whether the distillate is detected depends on a number of things, including the strength of the dose and your unique body chemistry. This means that if you have an upcoming drug test, it only makes sense to wait on your HHC order until the test is done. Why risk the potential for a negative result?

HHC distillate could remain in your system for three months or more. It is your responsibility to make sure that using HHC distillate will not disrupt your drug tests.

How Is HHC Made?

The best HHC distillate comes from labs where every batch is tested to ensure superior taste, color, and safety. The process begins with a hemp-derived cannabinoid that has been extracted from a hemp flower. When the extraction is complete and the cannabinoid has been synthesized, it goes through another chemical process that results in phytocannabinoid HHC (hydrogenated THC). Throughout this process, quality control remains a major concern and the resulting compounds should be tested with reliable equipment to make sure everything has gone as it should.

Note that this is the safest method of creating HHC! There are some other processes, but they are more prone to accidents such as explosions and fires.

Is HHC legal?

Legality can be a concern with orders for some consumers, be they bulk orders or single-user requests. The good news is that HHC distillate is 100% legal as long as it is derived from hemp. Note that this is a federal law, however, and you should do research into state laws to make sure there is no problem with shipping, be it to you or other consumers.

Any statements on legality must be independently confirmed as state law can vary from federal law by quite a bit. Sometimes the law treats different quantities of the same substance differently, too, so make sure you look into any quantity limits. If you have questions about state-specific regulations, we recommend reaching out to a legal professional in your area for clarification.

Is HHC a CBD?

HHC is not CBD. They share some similarities, which we discuss in other questions, but they are superficial. Both HHC and CBD are phytocannabinoids, but HHC is a psychoactive cannabinoid while CBD is not.

Can HHC distillate get you high?

The big question with HHC distillate is whether or not it can get you high. HHC is essentially delta-9 THC which has undergone hydrogenation. This means that, much as delta-9 can cause intoxication, so can HHC. This is true of other delta-9 THC derivatives, in general, although exceptions might exist. The potency of HHC distillate is typically reported to be less than delta-9, so take that into consideration when deciding the best THC option for you.

Note that the quality of the HHC matters. Our stock contains pure HHC extracts, which offers our users the best experience possible. Purity is important here, as is the technology used to produce the material. Look for manufacturers which comply with the industry standard.

Is HHC synthetic?

HHC is derived one of two ways: from hemp plants, or from cannabis plants. Because it is naturally occurring, it is not considered synthetic. However, only a small amount of the material occurs in hemp and cannabis plants. In order to meet supply and demand, much of the HHC distillate for sale is created from CBD isolate derived from hemp plants. This is done in qualified labs offering trustworthy service to users and suppliers alike. The best retailers will make sure that the company they use to create their HHC is established in the market and dedicated to offering their customers the best product possible.

What is the age restriction to buy HHC products?

In general, you must be at least 21 years old to buy HHC distillate, as well as to purchase additional psychoactive cannabinoids and distillates. Note that this is true for a number of different consumption methods. Vaporizing the compound, for example, as well as purchasing tinctures, cartridges, and joints, typically carry the same age restriction.

The age requirement for purchasing other goods, such as accessories or non-menu items, may vary. If you have HHC distillate in your cart, you will need to prove you are 21 or older, in other words. If your orders contain only other items we have for sale, such as accessories, that might change. You can reach out to our team for more information about our age requirements to access HHC distillate.

Is HHC as potent as delta 8?

There are a few well-known THC and CBD products derived from the cannabis plant on the market. Among these, delta-8, delta-9, delta-10, and THC-O are some of the most popular. Many customers are curious about how the potency of HHC measures up to these more well-known names. Whether you use resin, HHC gummies, or some other type of consumption method entirely, HHC distillate is inherently more potent than delta-8 and delta-10.

All you have to do is read our customer reviews to see the amount of people who appreciate HHC’s moderately potent effects. It is not quite as potent as delta-9 and THC-O, however, so users interested in a stronger experience might want to stick to them.

Make sure to store your HHC away from heat and light in quality carts designed for long-term storage, not low-cost disposables which might contain mystery metals.

Common Questions

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a cannabinoid but lacks the property of altering the user’s mind. CBD in recent years has been reported to reduce the effects of anxiety and depression, help to reduce inflammation, promote a healthy sleep schedule and even to reduce the chances of someone with epilepsy from having a seizure. When shopping around for CBD products, any legitimate companies that stand behind their products will have lab reports for the consumer to read. Lab reports are also known as certificates of analysis or COA and contain a whole host of useful information about the content of the finished product. These COAs can be notoriously hard to read with tons of confusing terms and numbers. Do not worry! We are here to teach you how to read these important documents so you can be sure of what you are putting into your body. Read more about how to read a COA here!
CBD flower is the buds produced from hemp. Hemp is the cousin of marijuana and both come from the cannabis sativa plant. Whereas marijuana is high in THC, the cannabinoid that causes the feeling of being “high,” hemp is very low in THC (less than 0.3%) and very high in CBD. Many years ago hemp was very different from marijuana but with modern growing practices and a market shifting more towards CBD, growers have applied their knowledge to growing better tasting and better looking CBD flower. It has begun to rival the more traditional market with more strains available with a multitude of companies that sell it nationwide and is set to become even larger in the next few years. CBD has anecdotally been described as helping many conditions in humans, ranging from anxiety to depression all the way to cancer and other life-treating ailments. The same is thought for our loving friends known as man’s best friend. CBD will not get your dog “high” as it is produced from hemp that is low in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC.) You can think of hemp as the one that makes rope and not marijuana which is strong in THC and used recreationally. Hemp with its high CBD content has been shown to potentially be medicinal without the mind-altering effects. Learn more about how CBD can help your furry friend here!
