Description

We take our CBD distillate and put it through a process called crystallization that removes most of everything, leaving us with a powder that is 99% CBD Isolate. It is an awesome option for those looking for CBD with no other compounds or chemicals.

Our CBD Isolate Powder

At Eagle Moon Hemp, we produce our CBD isolate powder by first making CBD distillate. We then subject the distillate to a process called crystallization, which removes all of the other compounds except the CBD.

What is CBD Isolate?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of many active compounds in cannabis plants, called cannabinoids. Our CBD isolate is over 99% pure cannabidiol with no other cannabis compounds. Because CBD isolate is nearly pure cannabidiol, it has no scent or flavor. CBD isolate can come in powder or crystalline forms. The form CBD isolate takes depends upon the type of extraction and refinement processes used to produce it.

How is CBD Isolate Made?

Manufacturers make CBD isolate by extracting the cannabidiol from industrial hemp plants. Some companies use supercritical carbon dioxide to extract the CBD. Other manufacturers separate the CBD from the hemp by using solvents like butane or ethanol. The solvent is then purged from the final product. You can check the purity of CBD isolates by looking at the product’s Certificate of Analysis from an unbiased third-party laboratory.

What is the Difference Between Full-Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate?

Full-spectrum CBD products contain all of the compounds found in hemp plants, including cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and amino acids. Experts generally agree that when all of the cannabis compounds work together, they produce an additional therapeutic benefit called the entourage effect.

Since CBD isolates do not contain any other compounds besides cannabidiol, they won’t produce the entourage effect. However, you can add CBD isolates to your favorite full-spectrum CBD products to make them stronger. Furthermore, some consumers prefer CBD isolates because they are less likely to register on routine drug screenings for cannabis.

How Can I Use CBD Isolate?

Since CBD isolate is odorless and tasteless, it’s one of the most versatile CBD products available. You can use CBD isolate in a host of different ways, including:

  • Sublingual Use: You may consume CBD isolate by simply dissolving it under your tongue.
  • Foods and Beverages: CBD isolates can be added to your favorite foods and beverages without influencing their flavor.
  • Tinctures and Vape Oils: You can enhance your tinctures and vape oils with CBD isolate.
  • Edibles: It’s easy to make your own edibles with CBD isolate. Just sprinkle the desired amount over your finished dish and enjoy.
  • Cosmetics: You can add CBD isolate to shampoo, skin cream, liquid soap, and other cosmetics.
  • Capsules: Filling capsules with CBD isolate makes for a convenient and discreet way to supplement with CBD.
  • Dabbing: Some consumers use a device called a dab rig to consume cannabis concentrates, such as CBD isolate. It’s also possible to sprinkle CBD isolate over a bowl of hemp flower or in a joint for smoking.

How Much CBD Isolate Should I Take?

It’s much easier to determine appropriate dosages with CBD isolates than with other CBD products. A digital scale comes in handy for measuring CBD isolate powder.

We suggest that beginners start with five or ten milligrams of CBD isolate and gauge the effects before consuming any more CBD isolate powder. For your convenience, we’ve included a handy CBD Dosage Calculator and Dosage Chart on our website.

For topical products such as skin creams, we suggest that you add at least eight to ten milligrams of CBD isolate per milliliter of the cosmetic product for maximum effectiveness.

What Are the Benefits of CBD Isolate?

CBD interacts with receptors in the body, which comprise an internal network called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS plays a vital role in helping our bodies maintain homeostasis. Some of the essential systems that the ECS helps balance include mood regulation, sleep cycles, immune responses, metabolism, and memory.

Although scientists still need to do more research to understand the compound completely, numerous studies have shown that CBD may have many potential benefits for human health, such as:

  • Reducing Inflammation: Like many cannabinoids, CBD may reduce excessive inflammation in the body.
  • Easing Aches and Pains: Many consumers use CBD products to soothe sore muscles and aching joints.
  • Calming Stress and Tension: In addition to the growing body of anecdotal evidence, laboratory studies have found that CBD has a calming effect on the mind.
  • Maintaining Healthy Skin: Human skin has an abundance of ECS receptors. CBD may help hydrate the skin, balance the complexion, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Combating Free Radicals: Some studies suggest that CBD has even more antioxidant power than Vitamins C and E.

We suggest that you consult a trusted health professional if you’re struggling with serious symptoms. Our CBD isolate is not intended to treat or cure any disease. Please ask your physician if CBD products may help in your case.

Will CBD Isolate Make Me Feel High?

CBD doesn’t produce any of the intoxicating effects typically associated with cannabis. A compound called delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) produces the intense psychoactive effects of “marijuana.” CBD isolate is 100% THC free and will never cause unwanted effects like anxiety, paranoia, or intoxication.

Is CBD Isolate Legal?

The 2018 Agricultural Act, known as the Farm Bill, removed industrial hemp and hemp-derived products from the Federal Controlled Substances list, thereby legalizing them. Congress defines legal industrial hemp as cannabis plants that contain less than .3% delta-9 THC. Since CBD isolate contains zero THC, it is federally legal throughout the United States. However, a few states have stricter laws regarding CBD products.

Will CBD Isolate Show Up on A Drug Test?

Since it doesn’t contain any of the other compounds from cannabis, CBD isolate is unlikely to register on a drug screening. That said, it would be prudent to inform any authority administering the drug test that you’ve been taking CBD.

Does CBD Isolate Produce Any Side Effects?

While it’s impossible to overdose on CBD, higher quantities may produce mild side effects, such as:

  • Drowsiness
  • Reduced appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Dry mouth
  • Diarrhea

Additionally, CBD may interact with certain prescription medications, making them stronger. Consumers should always consult with their primary physician before adding CBD products to their daily routine.

Common Questions

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is a cannabinoid but lacks the property of altering the user’s mind. CBD in recent years has been reported to reduce the effects of anxiety and depression, help to reduce inflammation, promote a healthy sleep schedule and even to reduce the chances of someone with epilepsy from having a seizure. When shopping around for CBD products, any legitimate companies that stand behind their products will have lab reports for the consumer to read. Lab reports are also known as certificates of analysis or COA and contain a whole host of useful information about the content of the finished product. These COAs can be notoriously hard to read with tons of confusing terms and numbers. Do not worry! We are here to teach you how to read these important documents so you can be sure of what you are putting into your body. Read more about how to read a COA here!
CBD flower is the buds produced from hemp. Hemp is the cousin of marijuana and both come from the cannabis sativa plant. Whereas marijuana is high in THC, the cannabinoid that causes the feeling of being “high,” hemp is very low in THC (less than 0.3%) and very high in CBD. Many years ago hemp was very different from marijuana but with modern growing practices and a market shifting more towards CBD, growers have applied their knowledge to growing better tasting and better looking CBD flower. It has begun to rival the more traditional market with more strains available with a multitude of companies that sell it nationwide and is set to become even larger in the next few years. CBD has anecdotally been described as helping many conditions in humans, ranging from anxiety to depression all the way to cancer and other life-treating ailments. The same is thought for our loving friends known as man’s best friend. CBD will not get your dog “high” as it is produced from hemp that is low in tetrahydrocannabinol (THC.) You can think of hemp as the one that makes rope and not marijuana which is strong in THC and used recreationally. Hemp with its high CBD content has been shown to potentially be medicinal without the mind-altering effects. Learn more about how CBD can help your furry friend here!

Excellent Product and Organized Supplier

My previous CBD iso supplier was a disorganized stoner who kept messing up shipments. As someone with chronic pain, I have chosen CBD over opioids and have been successful over the years. I take a 1/2 plastic spoonful of CBD every morning and evening and as needed. I first fill my mouth with water to minimize the taste, which isn't much. I cap my CBD too but takes a lot of time. I just thought of using a bottle with a pour spout to pour CBD on my hand and eat it up with water.

Very pleased.

I use it to make milk bone dog treats. When the facility I normally order from ran out, I found you online. I will certainly be ordering again.

So Far So Good

I get driving anxiety once in awhile. I take this in a vape that i mix with my nicotine vape juice or put it under my tongue as a powder and it makes the anxiety almost gone. A tad bit there but nothing to make me worry. Maybe I should increase dosage to completely eliminate it. I drive a truck and bought a drug test pack of 15 and passed every time I tested myself(5 times). I know it's isolate but I wanted to make sure. I LOVE HOW they send the lab result tests with your order. Will update if anything changes. Highly recommend and the price is the best around I found.
